THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO JANUARY 2ND!
This new years eve from 12 noon to 12 midnight drop in and join the Anderson House Hold in burning away our 2020 disappointments, woes and heart aches in a bonfire. We will light the fire at noon and keep it going as we stand vigil to see the last sunset of 2020 (weather permitting). If you have anything that you would like to rid yourself of please feel free to come by and put your 2020 resolutions, travel plans, disappointments, and grievances into the flames. We hope that this may be an environment where you can unburden yourself, if even for a moment, from the weights that 2020 had placed on us.
Please limit the items you burn to non-toxic, non-explosive items. Items like paper, t-shirts, fabric items, pictures, and planners are examples of approved items.Tupperware, batteries, and electronics are on the please don't put in the fire list (no matter how bad the Tupperware with no lid has grieved you this year)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to the fact that many people will have seen family and their bubbles will have increased this holiday season we are asking for everyone to be extra covid aware. We are asking people follow the heart of COVID health and safety measures not just the letter of the law here in Alabama. Please keep 6+ feet between you and anyone not in your bubble. We will also be limiting the back yard to a maximum of 10 people at any time to ensure that every one has space to social distance and protect others. So please be mindful of others as they come to burn away their burdens from this year.
